Itinerary
9:00 – Your guide will pick you up and you’ll drive to Berat (approximately 2 hour drive)
11:00– Visit the Castle of Berat (over 2400 years old), some of the chapels, the houses with their beautiful architecture and the Onufri Museum that houses beautiful paintings
13:15 – lunch in one of the small family restaurants within the fortress – we will recommend a delicious traditional meal for you!
14:15 – Drive down to the lower neighborhoods of Berat for a walking tour. This will bring you to the Medieval Center (King’s Mosque, Halveti Teqe and Caravan Saraj), Mangalemi neighborhood and its small beautiful streets (make sure you are good at going uphill for a bit), the bridge of Gorica and the neighborhood of Gorica itself.
16:30 – drive back to Tirana
